Are ac 42 or 43 better with alky? I just got Julios pac kit on. I just put in new rt42 plugs 2 months ago. I seem to have interm. problem that seems like a cyl. dropping when hitting 3rd gear. Tune was dead on before alky install so the only thing i can think is plugs being more critical on alky than without. Thanks, Bob.

could be youve got too much alky dialed in
did you take out any fuel or get an alky chip?

im runing cr43s at around .033 gap and plenty of boost (27+)
my controller is at about 12:30 position and other settings are as julio sent it out .

Yes, I am running Erics chip. I talked to Julio Satuday. He had me turn initial up from 11;30 to 12;30, blue knob to3/4. Also unhooked one pump from double pumper and unhooked volt booster.O2s are 780-810. I am going to get latest version of tt chip. Thanks, Bob.

I typically recommend running the 43's on the GN gapped down to 32-33. I dont have a lot of experience running with colder plugs, especially on a street car.

If the knock is zero, O2's in normal range.. its not fuel/alcohol.

Not to discount you have a bad 1.50 spark plug altho new.(ie cracked porcelin, loose, defective).
