Bryan,

Congrats on putting that sled in the 9s. i'm guessing that you figured how to get it to launch? What changes did you make? I know you have struggled with getting that car off the line. Is your car officially faster than JD's now?

Mike B.

One week from today...
Thanks Mike! I'm still getting some transition knock on the hit. Slowly creeping up on the tune. it just touched 29 PSI at the top of the track last night so there's some more left in her...
I think JD has still been faster than me in the quarter and in the 8th.

I'll be there. I'm looking for a light grey t handle shifter mine broke again, vacuum block for vacuum brakes, and a pass inner fender. I'm going to be taking a 9.5 3200 stall lock up converter still in the box. I have a delta gate and 2.5 hooker dp if anyone needs one.

Looks like there is a slight chance for rain in the AM, then clearing out. If you've got a pickup truck full of parts, you might want to bring a tarp. We'll have some chairs set up in the shop. It's always a good idea to bring more.

Sad news , we finished our project a week early, flying out at 6 am :(
Not going to make it....
Have a few drinks for me !

As usual and even though the weather was a little rainy, it was a great time. Lots of people showed up, there were several GN's and TR's there even with the weather and Ralph's crew did an incredible job on his famous taco's.

Thanks to Mike, Ralph and both of their crews for giving us an opportunity to meet up with old friends and to introduce ourselves to some new friends!

For those of you who haven't attended one of these events, make it a point to do so next time. You won't regret it.

P.S. Glad you are on the mend, Mike!

Didn't make it. Was super beat after driving 14 hrs straight yesterday to phx and back with the car trailer in tow

LOL, I was in PHX, yesterday, yes, the day phx got record rain amounts, 2.13 in , for the desert,, thats flooding, and terrible driving conditions, yet people were still driving like fools, and crashing all around us, I was picking up Buick parts, but 72 skylark ( GSX) parts ) we took the car, as I thought, if I'm gonna wreck something, I don't want to loose the truck, LOL.
insane, hydroplaning probably 75 % of the time, so controlled sliding/ driving.

Good times once again.
Thanks for all the hospitality!

Mike,

This is the first I've heard of this. Did you make a hard landing on one of your parachute excursions or fall off your high heels at ladies night in T.J. ? o_O

Neal

I thought Lou gave him a case of woop ass.

Well said Guy! I even enjoyed the rain for a change! Didn't drive my GN, was the only down side.
