Could be a product of the level of boost being run or how frequently you drive and change them.
My understanding is the CR's like much higher boost.
At the time I had issues, I was tooling around at 18-19lbs. Like I said, they were OK until about 1000 miles were on them and then the sputtering and popping under boost started. After discussing the problem with Lou Czarnota, a plug change solved the issue and It's never been a problem with the R43TS's.
So my perspective....unless you need to try CR43TS's or some other plug due to measurable issues with R43TS's....then don't bother. The C stands for Commercial...and the Commercial use is for truck engines....I aint driving no truck.
