those that are looking for a stage II motor, know "about" what kind of $ they go for. now if Ralph was desperate for the $ & he had to use the $ to bail someone out of jail or something, he would post a price. since he did not post the price, it is safe to say it is substantially more than 93.7694% of the yahoo's that complain about spending $1000.oo on a billet roller cam, is willing to spend.

I'm looking for 15K. You will not be able to buy the parts (all brand new), machine and build it including all the accessories for anything close to what I'm asking.
I will keep this up for sale for a little while longer and then it will be taken off the market to race this coming season. As stated in my first post for all the specific details please call the number listed and I'll be more than happy to discuss. Serious inquiries only please. Thank you.

Not attacking you at all, but I truly don't understand your concept of not posting pics. You post pics once, and thats it, everyone that opens the thread sees your pics. Otherwise, you have to email pics over and over to people who may not even be seriously interested like you require. If you post pics and prices now, then you wouldn't have people who think they can afford it but really cant, sending you emails. Not to mention all the personal time you are losing by having to upload pictures over and over to people. It just doesn't make sense. Sorry.

A few pics would likely draw a little more attention but an S2 motor looks like any other so I guess it really doesnt matter all that much.

Although, no one would buy a car with a S2 motor in it without pics and S2 cars these days can be had for close to $5k more then u want for the motor. $15k is still way cheaper then what it would cost new tho.

Is it a solid or hyd roller? How big is either?

There simply isnt a "concept" about not posting pictures. At the time it was easier to post it the way I did and follow up with a serious buyer with as much detail as they wanted, beyond the basics and some outside pictures of the engine with shinny valve covers etc.
I dont mind emailing the pictures to serious inquiries at all as stated.

What exactly is it that you consider "Serious inquiries"? You have had several members including myself ask for details about the motor and you refuse to provide them. What? Because they were not formed in a PM or email they are not serious? I don't understand ur mind set? 95% of the items I have bought here were from detailed posts from people who were selling items.

Ur asking top dollar for used parts. Worth it? Maybe. But how is anyone gonna form that opinion whether or not it's worth it without details?

Not everyone here is a tire kicker. Some of us actually spend money on things they really don't need but might want. This is TAX time and people have money to spend.

I would think you of all people would understand it takes alot more to tell whats done to a stage motor then just... a bms crank , 153 block, carillio rods, 218 cam, ta se heads... all your doing then is just stating some of the parts. It's simply to much to explain what all is done to a stage motor if you where serious I would think a 30 min phone call would be obvious.. with a over 15k purchase

Listen, I don't doubt for 2 seconds that his motor is legit. I mean if he's in NY I would be driving somewhere in NY to pick it up so im not doubting nor do I think he is hiding anything and would verify details as anyone would. It's not like he's selling a few emblems that are what they are for the most part.

I have read his posts and he is VERY knowledgeable. I don't question for a second the motor has top notch parts.

I just wanted some basic photos. I have a 16k mile car that I have dumped a lot of money into and do care what it looks like to a degree. Obviously something all rusted would not interest me. I'm kinda anal, that's all.

I was leaning towards something with a hyd. roller and just wanted to know if maybe that's what he had. Of course cam size is an issue for me as well as my car is primarily a street car.

Some people like to go back and forth between posts to compare items to see if that's really what they are looking for.

No one is asking what brand of oil he uses or what gaskets are under the heads. I would only assume the correct for both. Just some basics to get a feel for it is all im asking.

A lot of impulse buyers here. I happen to be one of em.
