I got some spare time today to get a few more bugs fixed on my car. I had to make another catch can. This one is like a dry sump tank with the inlets tangential to the can. This should sling the oil out of the air if it's moving fast enough.
I just need to get my new fuel 15 gallon fuel cell and weldon 2035 with dial a flow installed and I can go back to the track to find the next set of bugs.

Thanks. But there are lots of guys out there better than me. It's all about the tools/ machines.
I want a catch can like that
Im glad I left my valve covers plain until I get some miles and passes on it. If I get the oil issue, I can still weld on the tubes and add a can or modify them for a pump.x3 on your fab skills Mike. I have enjoyed reading your thread and witnessing your creativity. If the catch can thing doesn't work out for you, try the Corvette evac pump. Works very well. I tried the breathers on the valve covers too, and as you mentioned, they put oil on the headers too. I only found they did that at the track tho with good boost on it. On the street I didn't have a problem (mind you I'm not doing full qtr mile passes either). But the main reason I had to find a solution to the filters on the valve covers was that smell of oil coming in the car when I was under boost and the oil vapors emitting from the K&N's. Became annoying after awhile smelling that in the car and on my cloths, so I tried the evac pump and never looked back. No more smells or oil leaks as well. For me it was a win win.
Best of luck.
Can I guess please pretty please!! O buy the way can we make a trip up there in a few day's. I did come u with a little something today!! Part on way tommorow thanks mike!!
