Stage II picture thread- Let's see 'em!

My Stage 2 Off-Center build is just about complete, this is a Twisted 6 - Hogeland build. Just waiting on the ATI Super Damper, pushrods and some fittings to wrap it up.

Here are some of the specs:
- 275ci (4.015 Bore - 3.625 Stroke)
- CP Pistons (9.5-1 comp)
- Oliver Speedway Billet I- Beam Rods
- Cryoed forged stroker crank
- Champion GN1 aluminum heads & intake
(Fully ported by Hogeland - raised runners)
- Custom hydraulic roller cam

Wow, that looks like perfection, what trans are you going to use?

Mike

Thanks Mike, I will be switching over from a 200r4 to a Lonnie Diers 4l80e with his new manual valve body and trans-brake. The converter will be a PTC 9.5" NLU.

What are your intentions street/track wise with this setup? Are you wanting some 8's or just a bada$$ street machine?

Updated pics from Twisted 6 racing, my new bullet is shipping next week :)

Running 8 sec passes is the long term plan, I hope to run some mid to low 9 sec passes this year at 3700lbs and upgrade the safety stuff and weight reduction this winter. I still put a few thousand miles on it every year driving to work and cruising on weekends during the summer months.

What oil pan are you guys using? Mine might have a very few small porous weld joints and I'm thinking of replacing it.

Chris Hogeland fabricated the oil pan for my motor, the only other one I know of who sells fabricated pans is STEFS.

D

Thanks guys. I wan't to ask some tech questions about the pans, but I'll start another thread later.

Can't wait till see it all together!
Black and white with polished aluminum components. I picture it now. It's gonna look sick! Do the pipes in white, silicone hoses in black, block in black, valve covers in white, accessories in white, pulleys in aluminum, Down-pipe in black, turbo hot side in black, compressor polished, fuel rail in black, hoses in stainless braided, fittings in black, headers in white, entire fire wall and inner fenders and radiator support in black...............and so-on.

The only one thing that would concern me is discoloration from heat. Will all that white turn yellowish in time?

It may over time but the powder coat is rated at 475 degrees to withstand some heat but the question is "how long " we shall find out someday lol.

The theme will be a glossy off white engine bay as the color of the car .. No Ac components and brackets , odd components will be SS or billet. I will run polished fuel rails with black anodized AN fittings and e85 black fuel flex lines. The ATR headers and downpipe will be coated with the new ceramic cool products that can withstand some heat.

This will be a unique setup away from the traditional builts .

Here is a pic of the valve covers
