I hadn't been to the track in a year and gave it a try last week. My transbrake will allow the car to roll several inches. (maybe as much as six) Either way it is enough to roll through the staging lights. If I get a chance to put it in reverse first, then it won't roll. It worked great before. Any ideas?

Possibly excessive clutch clearance, line pressure is lower than normal are the most likely causes, if manual valve was never centerless ground it is possible that manual valve has worn the clearances open between it and valve body causing pressure leakage to clutches.

Contact Chris718, Lonnie, or one of the other tranny guys on the board and see what they say.

Mine has always been like that, the slop in the drivetrain will allow some rollout. KLmallender probably knows what he is talking about since he did invent the stageright brake.

I have a feeling that my line pressures are lower than normal. I was not thrilled with my pressures after rebuild last year. When I first start up and put in reverse there is a little delay like my fluid level is low. But it's not.
