Just looking for information on what would be the minimum stall for a 6262 bb.Running a 12" 2800 as of now.

No matter what turbo a 2800 12" is gonna slip on the big end (don't force lockup either the tcc will die) 2400-2600 is the end of the road to not be a slipping pig on the big end. Anything over 2600 will need to be a smaller converter like 10". Now back to turbo. First off what is your ET goal...the 6262 is a big turbo and say a 58 series or even a ta49 may fit the bill fine. If you are stuck on the 6262 then 2800-3000 will be plenty.

I dont have any et goals .Just looking for a nice street turbo. .The ta49 that i have on the car now pulls real hard down low but not so much up top.I was consisering a 6262bb hoping to gain some top end without losing the quick spool that I get with the ta49.My combo is TA 49 w/Garrett .63 ehx housing, ,DW301 pump,60's,stock dutt neck IC,12" 2800,3"DP,comp cams 212@ .050 with .469 lift and stock iron heads.Runs on E85 just looking for a good all around turbo that will spool up nice and pull hard up top.

I have had an interesting 62mm turbo year. I have had the Precision JB 6262, the Precision 6262 DBB, and Now a Bison 6265 (Garrett .63) all on the same car. It has a 9.5" PTC 19 Blade converter that comes in at 2900-3000 stall at 0-1 PSI. Ported Irons, 212/212 Hyd roller .504 lift. and Razors single nozzle kit.
Best bang for the buck is Bison's unit.
2nd place the PTE 6262 JB
3rd the PTE 6262 DBB.
The BB is not a $700 spooling difference.
Bison's unit spools just as fast as the smaller 62 turbine.
I ran up to 30psi on the PTE units.
Boost starts at 25-26 last frame touched 30. So I say avg. 28psi 10.72@124 3840lbs
I have only been up to 25 in Bison's.
Chicago winter has set in, more testing in the Spring.
I have logs to compare the DBB, vs the JB spool but Im telling ya not a $700 deal.

On E-85 this car would be much meaner!!

I also have put a Pte 5858 on a milder FT 212/212, home ported Iron head, stock intercooler, Razors alky car.
Set at 25psi
The "pink" Vigilante comes in at 2800.
Real Street light bully! Tad soft on the highway.
The 6262 is softer on the first 4 car lengths. Then it becomes a beast the rest of the way.
I am a E85 fan!!
Any questions?

It needs a 9.5 or 10" with 2800-3000 stall speed. I'm betting your 12" is actually 2200-2400 at best. The 12" works very well with a Ta49 but you will need more converter for the 6262.
