Steering Wheels???

Anyone got pics of after market steering wheels, and any info on how hard they are to install, and price. When i got my car it had a TType wheel in it, and i want one thats Black, or anything but Burgundy!

Find GN ENRGY (Tarey) here on the board. He worked with someone local to him a while back and was abe to obtain new wrapping for his GN steering wheel. You could probably get a used crappy GN steering wheel pretty cheap and then rewrap. You'll have a hell of a time finding a GN steering wheel in good condition and if you do, you'll PAY for it.

I have no experience with aftermarket steering wheels.

Google "Lecarra" --they make some very nice leather wheels,3 and 4 spoke,polished ,satin ,black......cost was $100-150 wheel and mount kit a few years ago

Exactly!. I had a spare GN steering wheel redone with the original leather and correct grey color too. The lady who does that is:

Dannyo, if I remember correctly, I paid $195. + $25 (shipping to Canada) = $220. As for the grey color, it's a perfect match (a little difficult to judge by the pictures...)

Just got my Grant Steering wheel..........

I will be installing it in the next couple of days.

It is a 14" Dia, 3" Dish, Signature Series 749.

I will post a photo after it is installed.

Just an FYI: It is going on a "Limited" Regal.
So the GN boy please dont have a cow or beat me up too bad.

i remember reading here (i think) of a guy who restored his worn wheel for a couple dollars. he sanded and painted and as far as i remeber it looked new. you may wanna do a search

Installation wasnt hard.
But you do need an installation kit for the horn to work correctly.
