Well...after i replaced the cam sensor, crank sensor, ignition module, and coil pack..i go to start it up. All it does is turn over, no start.

YES!!!

So i decide to pull off a valve cover just for kicks to see if there is any upper valvetrain movement on turn-over. No movement from the rockers while its cranking. Broken timing chain? This would also account for the no spark condition right, since the cam sensor isnt sensing any camshaft movement?

Let me know,

no movement from the rockers will DEFINITELY NOT make your day!

It DOES explain why you're getting a no-start! And yes, the cam turns the cam sensor, ergo if the CAM isn't turning...

You have many problems to look into now, first of which is why isn't the cam moving? Chain maybe, but more likely a broken or missing woodruff key...

Second problem, is to find out whether or not any pistons have hit any valves...

Well, i pulled off the timing cover, and heres the scoop. Apparently, somehow the timing chain tensioner/damper broke off, and the metal from it slipped inside the timing chain, stripping the crank sproket of all but 2 teeth. whoopie! So theres my no start problem.

As for the pistons slapping the valves...i dont think the valves are long enough to reach the 8:1 comprssion pistons...but i could be wrong. And if they did happen to slap them, would they sustain any substantial damage, since it would only be by my turning over the motor trying to start it, and not at a high rpm?

Ouch...

A piston hit one or more of those precious valves... the 231 V6 is an interference motor.

It doesn't take much to tweak the valves. If you spun it over via starter that is more than enough to cause a bent valve in this situation. To simply replace the bent valves and labor involved on your heads look at $250 to $300 (and that's with you yanking the heads off and reinstalling them yourself). Just had to replace intake valves on some GN1 aluminum heads - they surely cost a tad more than a stocker valve.

This is a great opportunity to upgrade some items, camshaft, lifters, and timing chain.
