 dont forget the trans.this turbo makes some serious power and the multi disk vig l/u has been known the snap the stock input shaft
What I'm trying to figure out is if this turbo will dramatically affect the drivability of my TR. I have a stock motor/head/cam combo (for now). I was contemplating a 6776bb or a 6152bb. I had my converter restalled to 3200 from 3000 and I'm ready to pull the trigger on a turbo just need help deciding which one. I also plan on installing 1.65 rockers if that helps any. My goal is 11.30-40's w/unported heads then 10.20ish once I have the money to rebuild the motor which will be maybe 12-18 months.

So should I get the 6152bb then upgrade when I'm ready or just go straight to the 6776bb?

The 6776BB is super streetable with stock heads and cam. With the right converter it will spool a little slower than stock, but comes on like gangbusters. At 5 psi, my rpm's are at 3200, and at 10 psi I'm seeing 3600 rpm's. That's what someone should be looking for when using the 6776bb turbo. I don't know what it runs 'cause I have no time to get it to the track. 52 nights in a row at work is the cause of that. But it's also causing me to buy a set of heads and a roller set up. Looking for 10.9X's on pump gas and alky. Should be able to do it with low boost. ;)
