i know its old school but my old smc kit pump croaked yesterday and im not in a spot to drop $500+ on a new kit right now. anywhere to pick up a replacement that will hold till funds open up ? i saw notes on a northern tool external that may work for the interim but im not sure.
any tips would be incredibly appreciated, just bought a new TT chip for alchy and this just kills me.

has to be one of the first, round canister attached to fan mount...black internal box with two gain knobs and a test button on top. looks like an old fuel pump submerged in tank..tied into the nylon boost line for signal. worked well till the pump croaked.

I have an old one, been stored half full of water+alky+Klotz for a long time, so I have my doubts about its health.

You may be better off with something new.....

Make me an offer on this. I have the control box also, which would make a good spare. It all worked when removed.

Not trying to ruin a sale for you Bob, but isn't there a late 80s chrysler pump that can be installed in the smc setup?

there was also a Ford pickup flex-fuel pump (external) that some guys were using.

Someone on here has a complete working set with a recently replaced pump (wonder where he got that..) for pretty cheap.

not trying to make a sale here, but rather put some old junk to good use.

Get a hold of razor and buy his external he sells for SMC... $100. The new EFI pumps don't hold up to Methanol ( I went through 3 in short order) - maybe alcohol.

Go to Dodge Dealer, purchase a P5007150 pump. I just replaced both of mine, work very well. Skidman.

This pump is a visual/identical pump. You can see Steve filed the barbed end off the top,and tapped 1/8 pipe threads. I did the same. Seems to work great. No disrespect to Juloi, but I bought 2 kits from the GSCA @$860 for both/shipped. I can not buy 2 new Razor kits. Skidman.

I forgot, I use 4 oz. oil per gal. for pump lube. Slight smoke @ T-pipes,you know it is working.Skidman.
