I have a 1984 T-Type and it surges until the torque convertor locks up. I recently replaced the TCC solenoid along with a transmission service and the surge problem improved drastically. I still feel a slight surge until the torque convertor locks up at about 45 mph. Once the torque convertor locks up, the car runs very smooth. Any suggestions as to what my problem could be now?
