Hello, I wanted to ask some specific questions regarding this turbo that Cotton's sells. My brother runs one currently on his car with GN1 iron's and GN1 Intake, 210 cam and XFI, 3400 stall converter.

I'm probably going to get the same turbo because I like it's street mannors and it's power potential.

Is anyone out there running these with 126 MPH traps or higher? My car is 3200 lbs so I know it can happen just want to hear experiences.

Thanks

I have a CPT61 in my Red T, went 121mph 22lbs boost with Champion irons and a 206 roller cam. I have a CPT70 in my White T and went almost 132mph also at 22lbs boost with aluminum GN1s and a 224 roller cam. I would guess the CPT66 would run in the mid to upper 120's no problem with the same boost, good heads and a cam and I'm sure would be even faster with more boost. However, I don't know all the specs on the Turbonetics turbos and exactly what the differences are between the CPT61, CPT66, and CPT70.

the cpt66 with the P trim should have no problems with 130 with the right tune in a 3200 lb car. Probably higher depending on what track your at. Ive been 126 with a 6152e and a 3600 lb car.

To my knowledge t netics doesnt even offer the p trim anymore.

They don't. But my brother has one and I'm looking to buy one that is used.

You should be able to crank out 135mph with the right combo and tune. The turbo is not going to make or break it.
