I have finished moving T6P off of its old server. Im sure a ton of stuff is still broken but for the most part, the forum seems to be working. I still have to move the image gallery database and unfortunately the only backup I have is several months old so Im sure there will be some lost data there.

Please go beat on it and let me know whats not working so I can get all the loose ends tied up. It took me FOREVER to just get the main forum moved because we're coming from such an old OS, a lot of stuff had to be updated/changed.

If you get a message saying that the forum is closed its because your DNS server is still pointing to the old server. I actually did the DNS move yesterday so I doubt anyone is going to have that problem.

Thanks

Seems to work but still slow..........It's a start.

It should be the same speed as this site. They are now on the same server.

Im working on the image gallery database now.

The most important thing though is I posted there before TY.

Nah, But you might want to break the news to him that the post count started over at 0..........

@*#&$^$(#*&$*$&%^$&*#(#)#*@^@^@&@&@*@*@*@*@*@*&#

Are the post counts wrong? I didnt look. A post count rebuild should fix that. Let me run one real quick.

Well, right now there is too much broken stuff to turn you loose in the backend. Im not sure Im going to be able to salvage the image gallery. I do have a couple of ideas for alternatives tho so Im going to see what Shane wants to do. Im going to try to get the gallery back up in a couple of hours once the database upload finishes.

I figure he fainted with the news.

I had to change my shorts too, I had a lot of time invested in that:eek:

I see no change. Still takes over 25 seconds to open a page. Every page change.

Could be an issue with banners. I havent changed the banner code to pull from this server. Thats on my list of things to do.

Just discovered all the attachments are "missing".. Ill be fixing that this afternoon too.

After beating my head against the wall for the last 4 hours, attachments are restored and working again.

Yes it's slower than the mother ship. I tried uploading a pic and it wouldn/t let me for some reason Jay. I finally just the the URL code but it looks like an entry and no links.
