Guys friend of mine wants to sell the turbo off of his car has adjustable waste gate and is in good shape with no shaft play. Good entry level turbo works great with stock torque conv.

No its not its a 49. Wheel is bigger than stock

Cant be stock just made 310 rwhp at 19psi. Stock i cant get over 245 or so lol

why is wheel and inlet hole SMALLER than stock inlet bell hole? should be bigger right? splain it ta me, i need skoolin

Looks like a ported stock turbo. I went 11.72@114 with a stock turbo at 20 psi. sounds like 300+ rwhp.
 
First look all round for a scribed ID on compressor housing. If nothing, then....
Take compressor housing off and measure inducer and exducer outside diameters. Then go to precision website and look at chart.
 
Its my turbo fatnat posted it for me anyways i was told its was a ta49 not trying miss lead anyone please help to identify thanks

not ported, just list it as a stock turbo, looks well used
It has been worked on call it what u wish look at the pics theres no play in shalf worked great im just going bigger if is not worth anything ill just throw it in scrap pile thanks

Just hold on a min,nobody said it was scrap just pointing out what it is.besides in my book a working turbo beats a non working turbo anyday,if nobody buys it you always have a back up.
