my mods are listed!! i am having car worked on and it wont smoke the tires like it use to with a te-61? what else do i need to do to make it run! it feels like it might need more fuel! i am getting lots of knock as well!! all done on 112 octane! boost was set at 26 but spike to 30!!

Too small of injectors fo a 64. If it was me, i would go with motron 60's, and get a chip from Eric at Turbotweak.
 
do you think new injectors would save my combo and bring my smoke show back!!
 
Lean condition and knock is caused by way too small of injectors for 26-30psi on this turbo. Also, if it's a TE-61 and they just installed a larger turbine wheel, it will be close to the TE-64s power, but still off by at least 20 or so flywheel hp. The no smoke show sounds like it is caused by the motor being too rich down low due to the fuel tables on your current chip. Been there done that with that exact combo of injector and chip. I agree with what karst#9 said. Get some 60# Mototrons and a good race chip from Eric of Turbo Tweak. Then throw on an RJC boost controller and your smoke show should return. You will also be able to pull fuel out under WOT in 1st gear to help the turbo spool up even faster. One other thing, if it were me, I would run a better brand of race gas with that combo and the boost turned up that high. VP C16 has a higher knock threshold than all of the 112 octane race gas brands out there.

6bquick,bottom line is it depends.to utilize the turbo it reqires fuel so the bigger injector will help make more power,your smokefest is gone maybe for two reasons the te61 spooled better hitting the tire sooner with the power or the te64 is not tuned in right.looking at your converter i would think you would be alright with that stall but perhaps others with that combo could offer there opinions.my guess would be tuning in the te64 just because your making alot of boost doesn't mean your making power.if it's knocking i would get out of it and either lower boost and timing or get the bigger injectors before bad things happen!

i was thinking going with alky and 60# injectors and new chip? anything else i could get some help with! i had boostjunkie tuning car and we spent over 6hrs trying to get this thing going! we lowered the boost alot and know matter what it would still spike to 25-30 i would back out around 9 degrees of knock!
 
If you lowered the boost like you said you did and the car is still making 25-30 pounds either your wastegate is broken or the spring in your wastegate is to large. Change the spring and see what happen it may solve you problem so you can drive your car at a lower amount of boost. Just my 2 cents coming From a spoiled little rich kid thats a liar. Just trying to help remember that!

WTF is that suppost to mean?
 
6bkwik,9degrees of knock is high enough let alone at 26+psi!get out of it and stay out untill you have the problem under control,things can get real hairy fast at those boost levels and you will probably hurt things.i highly recommend alkycontrol and turbotweak chips once you get your boost issue straight good luck!
 
i let off eveb when it spiked to 9 i didn stay in it!!

car is running very nice now thxs to boostjunkie!! i still cant break tires loose! in first but once boost climbs she pulls really nice!! what can help my bottom end injectors? 24psi no knock! 110 octane still tuning
