Need your guys help, I'm torn between which tranny to go with here. What are your thoughts. The car is a full weight street/strip car. Mid to low 10's is the range the tranny will see. I know a few guys who are running mid to low 9's with a 350, but the cars are light. I preffer the Th350, but will it live with the weight of my car and going mid to low 10's??
Thanks for any help!

I would run a 400. If you spend the cash need on the 350 to be dependable you will have much more money in it and the 400 will still be much stronger basically stock.

I agree.

400 is much stronger, and have Lonnie do it so you know you got what you needed.
and he's close to you!

That's one nasty combo in you signature man. I personaly would do it right the first time and go with the TH400. Lonnie will treat you right too!

I love the Stage 2 200R4 from him, I went this route due to driving the car long distances ect.

Lonnie.....You da Man with 400.....;)

The 400 all the way! That is one part in my car that I never even think or worry about.

Dusty was running one for a while. Here is a 350 i did for a local guy and this is 2 seasons old already! new best last night - Organized Drag Racing and Autocross - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards.

I think you'd probably be happier with a 400 though for longevity reasons.

Mike.

Yep, true story. Ran a T-350 for 3 years now with more stock parts than anyone would imagine. Been 5.90-6.0's more times than I can count at 3500#. Total cost was $1000. We will not be swapping to a 400 anytime soon.

You guys are real lucky.
