i still don't see how it happened without him stalling it. Weird, sucks for the owner and im sure the son later on.

Yeah, shouldn't it have some sort of safety switch to keep the starter from engaging shile in gear? You can hear it start up nice and easy.

Maybe the enigine had enough compression not to stall when his foot slipped off the clutch. What I don't get is, why would he continue to depress the gas pedal the whole way though the garage. How long does it take to come to your senses and hit the brakes!
