I have a Titan 4x4 King Cab and i have had it for 2 years. You will love the truck!! Everytime i come to a stop light a Dodge Hemi pulls up and wants to race. I have beat 3 two wheels drive and one 4x4. My buddy just bought one with $8000 off a crew cab. You will like the truck.

I get into debates weekly with friends that foriegn trucks are going to outsell domestics in a few years. It will NEVER happen - at least in our lifetimes.

I'll agree with you on that. IMO the main reason why is the imports dont offer a diesel and/or a HD platform i.e. 1 ton or larger. Right now they are going after the gravy by marketing to the the poser crowd. They wont be able to control the light duty class until they control the "real" truck markets.

I think the big three (especially Ford) will own the truck market for a long time simply because there are so many different ways you can build your truck compared to Nissan and Toyota. Just the fleet sales alone will keep them on top. Even the bottom of the line Titan has a cushy interior, AC, and alot of power options. You won't see anyone buying a bunch of those for their landscaping company.

Nevertheless, I am very happy with my truck so far and I prefer to buy a vehicle assembled in America from a Japanese company over one assembled in another country for a U.S. company.

What are they asking for the truck?

Mine had a MSRP of $33,000. It is a SE Crewcab with the tow package, traction package, and popular package. I looked into a couple comprably equipped F150's and the dealers were saying that they were $37K - $38K. I was able to get mine for $28K and got $9800 for my trade, which was $1800 over KBB trade in value.

RE Titan

I have an 04 Avalanche and it handles like a dream , its the quietest vehicle inside that i have ever owned , i hauled a 36 foot travel trailer last summer and hardley even noticed it was there and i have a really good time dusting the rice burners around town--especially when they have thier girlfriends with them--must be a real kick in the a$$ when a huge truck smokes them. The Avalanche has a ton of room as i have 3 kids - dvd players in the headrests to keep them busy. When i want to go pick up something big i take out the panels and i have a full size bed--if i want to pick up sheetrock in the pooring rain i lay the seats down , slide in the sheetrock and close the gate--everything is nice and DRY when i get home. Its 4X4 and i plow snow with it and find the traction awesome. Ill get a new one every 3 yrs this i know for sure.. Love this truck

Titans are made in Tennessee.

My Old Dodge Ram was made in Mexico. What's better, Rice or Beans?

Actually... they are made in Canton, MS

All Titans, Armadas, Infinity QX56's, Quests, and some Altima's are made at this plant.

I thought you said it was $9000 off of MSRP?

I had no idea there was a Nissan Plant in Canton. Our neighbors are from Jackson.

Thanks for the Info. I assumed they built them at their Tennessee plant.

Mississippi is going to be the new Ohio.

The XE models were all $9000 off of MSRP, and I was originally thinking of going that route. I then decided that I wanted the higher trim package with LSD, Tow, and all the goodies. There were no specials on those, so I decided to let them have a chance at making me a deal. I think I did well considering I got $5000 off plus $1800 more than I wanted for my trade. It took quite a bit of haggling to get there though.

Last night I got a chance to finally sit in my truck for awhile and play with it. One thing I noticed was that there was no temp guage in it. I was kinda bummed because I loved having that and the compass in my F150. Well, I then decided to look over the window sticker and make sure everything listed was on my truck. I then read that I was missing the temp guage, compass, and integrated garage door opener.

My wife went into the dealership today for this and to get our alarm re-coded since they messed up on one of the remotes and they were preplexed that Nissan made such a strange "oops". They told her that they need to call Nissan and see if they can get the parts directly since the parts department can't get them. They told my wife that if Nissan cannot provide the right console directly they will order a whole new truck identical to ours for us and trade when it gets in. They also offered a free dash mat, free oil change, and a free tank of gas for our trouble. We'll hear back by the end of the week what the resolution will be.

2.6 million sq ft under roof..... .9 mile from one end to the other..... fairly impressive piece of real estate.....

Well, when they ask me at the Mexican restaurant, I usually choose the rice.

We got 5K off MSRP and 10K for the trade  which is almost 3K more than KBB Fair trade in value. At first they only offered $4500 for my F150 and 3K off MSRP.

So how much did you end up paying total?
