Thinking about a TA alum motor

If you want a dipstick, then have one installed in the oil pan.:smile:


The 3rd run of the TA block has an dipstick provision now and 2 small screws (10-24 thread I think) on the rear cam plug if anyone wants to put a small bar across the plug for the rumored cam plug falling out.

no ****. I want a ride in that thing. i couldnt even picture how fast that thing has to be with the light motor making that much power.
 
If you could ballpark it, how much would it cost for a 3.995" bore new style (ie dipstick) TA block to replace a production 4.1L block if I reused the rotating assembly, heads, intake, cam.... ect from the current engine?
