All I can say is there are the cars the employees drive.

You guys can bad mouth AZ and all the other parts houses if you want, but check your comments at the door when you come in my store.

Sorry just got tired of peeps making generalizations of a company from a couple of people that dont care about cars or the customers.

Not flaming just setting some stuff straight.

Jerry

you guys are a wonderful exception.

the rest are friggen retards.

Will you please transfer to the autozone close to me?

 A.j.

X2 Its usually "Thanks for calling Autozone, No we dont have it, This is Flamer, how may I help you?"

Every parts house and oil change lube shop around here has either a Mustang, stupid ricer honda, or a 80's Ford 4x4 with a 50ft lift sitting in the parking lot. And they are WAYYY smarter than you are  I dont even attempt to talk about Buicks in there.

Well if you're in the area Jerry, I'll be at the Valley Mills location Saturday for training. I took a PSM position for now. Did it before so I guess I can do it again. Lost money but there really isn't anthing out there right now that want's to pay anything.

Charlie, Glad you're working again buddy..........

I have no trouble with my local AZ, nice guys, helpful and try hard.
Now the Advance is a different story.

Nice!!

Few and far between.

I'm still waiting for a refund on a muffler bearing.

The really scarry part is that I drove to an interview a total of 132.5 miles both ways and the shop owner offered me $9.73 an hour. When he looked at my certs all he said was "that's pretty" and handed it back to me. AZ is at least a 12 mile drive and offered more money.

I tried to pick up a radiator for a GN that was here and when it was pulled out of the box, it was a top/bottom tank unit. I told the guy it was wrong and his answer was "that is what the computer says it calls for". I told him the computer IS wrong and I will show him what it looks like, I will go get the factory one. He tells me "maybe yours is wrong". I made him look up the F-body radiator because it will swap in with the same widtch and height. He said "GM doesn't make 'em like dat". He manager was watching over his shoulder the whole time and was looking like he agreed. THESE are the morons who give Idiot Zone the reputation. There are 2 Mustangs and a few fart cars in this one building. Nothing impressive. All probably 18 second cars. "Noise don't make it go fast" comes to mind. :D

I can't comment on Dr Frankenstien's AZ. Never shopped there. I quit going in for myself years ago.

let's see[ a C4 vette with ground effects and wheels, with an SN95 Mustang with ground effects and wheels.
throw in a Neon with a wing and fart can, and it looks like the parking lot of every other chain auto parts store to me.
i prefer the places where you see a clapped out old Nova or Camaro or late 60's/early 70's Mopar with faded paint that is riding on either Centerlines or Cragars. if you see that in the parking lot, you know there is some knowledge behind the counter.

Good point but i would still stop at THAT Autozone before any other parts house...

A real auto parts store has the blacktop tagged up with burnout marks. Forget repaving, it's just a rubber coated parking lot.

What I want to know is,

Is that a WE4 with a GN badge

Or a GN with T wheels?;)

That lot looks better than most I see here in CT.

i know you know the 2 im talking about, the one on main across from blakes and the the one on ELpo acros from checkers.

those guys are rediculous!

I dont even try with the one close to my house, they built a new Oriellys!

 A.j.

P.S. party this weekend?

ball busting time!

well let's see... a run of the mill gas, tires & oil, a riced out C4, a hot air car, & a everyone has one rustang.

Thats funny, I thought the same thing about the parking spaces. :) Double parked too. No offense, just funny.
