I have an annoying ticking which I believe to be an exhaust leak. (Yes it could be the valves, but lets ASSume its the exhaust for now. How do you guys pinpoint where the leak is comin from? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Top engine cleaner is good for finding exhaust leaks.
Don't try this in a closed environment.

An old mechanic's trick is to get a section of heater hose (~4 ft)....put one end up to your ear...and go hunting.

Dip the vacuum hose from the charcoal canister into a little bit of brake fluid and watch where the smoke comes out. That is where your leaks are.

Does the sound go away when its warm up? If it does then you got a exaust leak.
