I know!!! These simpler calculators are whacked! And on a bad tuneup too?! BS!
Maybe it's just the calculator I used. There's something whacked in that equation. I used the one on hotrodpitstop.com. Has anyone else found that one to give stupid results?

Find a different calculator.......lol

Yes. I remember that well. If I remember right, that person was giving me a lot of grief so I returned the favor. I don't think anyone could blame me for that.

IMO, the only reason to run a Stage II head on a street engine with limited cam timing and rpm operating range is simply for one reason only. The under the hood, looky loo, WOW factor. It will not enhance the performance of an engine meant primarily for street use.

you should re-read the thread

http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/th...why-stage-ii-heads-are-not-streetable.370515/

his met his goal, even though miss-matched and out of the box, weird sounds eerily familiar? no one gave you grief, you just told everyone that wanted to run stage head on the street they were wrong

think its funny that you get upset when people say your combo wont work, your turbo is too big, and whatever else, but when someone else that met his goal with a miss-matched combo, and was very happy by the way, their wrong and their motor has been "dumb down" or just for "bling"

just busting your balls Donnie, but see doesn't feet so good when the shoe is on the other foot.

Did I hurt some feelings by giving my opinion on Stage II heads? Sorry 'bout that. Sometimes I don't keep my feelings back like I should, I guess.

nope, not mine

when you tell someone their combo is wrong it's "opinion"
when someone does the same to you it's "condescending"

see i'm learning:)

Let me teach you something else. I'm not perfect. Yeah, I know. Utterly shocking, but it's true. You'll learn to get used to that.

like i said Donnie, just busting your ball a little, now i'll go back to reading and learning and stop posting since i have noting educational to contribute.

Heck. These simple calculators are all just what I thought of them in the first place. They're all whacked.
How do you get over a 200 hp difference between two of these simple calculators?

Well I have been on a dyno and have been on the track so im aware of what my car makesfor power
so based on my numbers i know what a accurate calculator should read. and if i use that calculator to figure your car based on your numbers it spells out "about" 1050 hp...... a far cry from 1300 hp so yes I agree with you the 1300hp is BS !!!!!

Thanks for the kind words, Gene. Going to these events is all about comraderie, and just plane having a good time. You will find that everyone is pretty helpful and willing to share. Not too many big egos that need feeding.
Neal Stewart called me today and i talked to him for awhile and he is going to meet me at Bowling Green. Neal is another person that i value his opinions and cant wait to set and talk to. Last time i saw him was at BG 10 years ago but ive talk to him on the phone several time sense then.

If that 1050 hp number that you're suggesting is rwhp, I'd say that is too high also.
