Times and combos with billet turbos

Jason of RJC now has an oversized puck setup designed just for these new turbos
 
Anyone have any track times with the 6062 Billet. Seems like that size Billet turbo isn't used for some reason?
 
My little 49 is still gettin'er done! I would love to try a 6262 on E85!:eek:

I have a ta49 , 60lb inj. Small hyd cam, stretch neck,255 fuel pump, adj. Reg. , ls1 maf , ptc2800 , turbo twek chip, 18 lb . And she is moving.87GN fresh Steave V motor and trans also rjc plate ,cold air 9 in k&n.I am going to go with 3 in down pipe, razor alky , 23 lb boost and leave it the hell alone.
 
Champion iron heads with matching intake, custom 206/206 roller, T&D 1.55 RR, .020 hyper pistons, 60# injectors, 3" THDP, Dutt neck stock intercooler, 6057bb turbo, 22-23# boost, Edge 2600-2800 converter, Razor's Alky, TT chip, 3.42's ET 11.63@124.87 leaving off idle. Will make some more runs after fixing a fuel pressure problem. :)
 
Went from Older te 63 to 6765 it's unreal how the car feels now. It ran 11 teens at 22# boost before. Turbo did a 187 on my trans. So no new numbers yet waiting on new stage 2 from CK to come this week. Then to the track we go
 
with bellow sig combo PTE 6776 with .63 housing ......Car ran 11.50 @ 130 MPH with a Huge 1/4 inch + crack around the Driverside HEader to crossover @ 24 Psi ( Very Short track rental day for me :frown:).............Ran 10.94 in the street with a G tech @136mph ......................... Dynoed on a Mustang Dynometer @29Psi 535 RWHP/ 710 LBS TQ Power Coming in @ 3000rpm with a TH400... op. told me figure a 20% Loss with the 400 .......................
 
Anyone remember the last overhyped Precision turbo series that ran some good numbers? ;)

You know the PTE51 has been high 10's in stock longblocks back in the old days.

Then a few melted and now we have billet wheels. :eek: :cool:

I've got one with a good wheel, Modern Musclecar good warranty version, :cool: in a heavy car that can do 113mph at 23psi. :smile:

Pump gas and alky. too no race gas. ;)

First day at the track today with the 6265. Best et of the nite was 11.60 and best mph 121. Car was run at 20psi and 20/21 degrees. Was hoping to have some better times with some more tuning but a blown out header gasket cut the nite short.
more times to come.
 
How is the spool with the 6265 ball bearing Turbo with an S-Cover? (I have a 2800 stall converter) I want something that spools faster than my TE-60 but can take me a bit further. The Mickey Thompon tires can hold the car fine if it spools quick.

Just dynoed the car yesterday with the new setup to do some tuning. Billet 62-65 S-cover (4 bolt T4 setup), 3000 stall PTC converter, 210/215 roller cam and rockers.

463hp and 436tq @ 20psi and 21* timing ;)

I went from a 70GTQ to a 71HPQ billit wheel on my TSM combo. At the same launch psi and rpm it made enough power to put my car on the bumper. I turned it down 2lbs and 100rpm and it tried to do the same thing. The third pass I turned it WAY down on the launch it still went 9.64 at 147.5mph. The 60' on that pass was 1.68 where it usally is in the mid to high 1.3's. That was also 2mph faster than my previous best.

I ran a 10.95 @ 119.6 with new combo so far in 85 degree weather 1.512 60 ft.then a 10.99 @120 with a 1.58 60 ft,then 11.04 @121 with a 1.62 60 ft. on 22 lbs boost hot lapping it on these 3 passes!drove it there,and drove it home then took the family to a car show in her!!!:D

This car drives on the street with a hole new attitude at 18lb. I added 5 gl C16 to 7gl 92 turned the boost up to 21.I only have Scanmaster 0 knock and 700-750 o2 I did no tuning to the chip for I'm brand new at this.Will buy a Alke kit soon,90$ for C16 in Hawaii and no one bring in no-lead M5 Is available I would like to run In the 11.90 class. Looking forward for your Help
