I had a te45a (66mm) on my Blue T and that turbo pulled like a freight train. It worked well on the street and I have a 3200 stall in my GN which is the same I had in the Blue car.

What would todays turbo equivalent be to this old bad ass turbo?

The precision 6765 or the t netics 6665. Im sure a 45a could be fitted with a 65 trim ex wheel too. If you're making less than 650hp there won't be much advantage one over the other. If you wanted to run one hard and see what it's worth I'd go with the 6765.

We just did a Garrett housing on a TE 45A that originally had a Precision 83 housing, and it made a huge difference on the street. :)

Too hot here to check it out at the track yet.

The car ran high 10's before the change, and it is an iron headed car. I doubt that it would do as well with only a 3200 stall, he uses a 3600 stall.

May be a good option depending on your goals with the car.

Or call Limit Engineering and order a 45a, proven time and time again to be a bad A.

I really like the T-66 with ball bearing (P-trim 6665, .63 Tnetics).

Spools well with 26-2700 @ 1psi 9/11.

Spools a lot faster then my previous smaller journal billet turbo w/ pte .63

Sounds like a fighter jet too. :p

the turbonetics .63 is so close to the garret .63 and makes those bigger wheels much more responsive on the street.i ran a 62/65 with a tnetics .63 and the car was alot of fun, then i went with the larger exhaust housing and the car was barely liveable ended up changing it back.
