SignUp Now!Negative. Absolutely NO knock retard introduced. Why would anyone use it if it did?I've never tried but doesn't the solid/turnbuckle style screw with the knock sensor? I guess one way to help the motor mounts is to introduce bunches of ign retard... not a good way to go fast though. That might explain the rubber hose on 626's picture.
Looks exactly like the one in the last photo in this thread: http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/threads/torque-strap-on-tta.405948/can someone tell me how this mounts to an 87 gn? i have never seen one like this.
Brutal...Lol!I think the correct way to mount that to an 87 GN is to open the drawer in your tool box , find the correct size wrench to unscrew the turnbuckle almost all the way out paying close attention to not unscrew it too far....Open the hood on your 87 GN and look at the alternator where this is designed to be utilized, then look at the frame where it will be mounted.....then walk to your trash can and throw it inside, making sure that it stays in one piece. You sure dont want any part of it making its way back near your car. Hope this helps.......
