Track results for new combo...

Finally got to the track. Even though it was just 1/8 mile.

I just put on TE61, 3" THDP, 3200 9x11, and MSD 50's.

I was having trouble with my boost controller so for some reason I couldn't get the boost over 20psi.

But on drag radials we went 1.70 60ft, 4.96 330ft, and 7.64 @ 88MPH.

The o2 voltage was way high in the 840 range on direct scan.

When I finally got some more boost in it (23 psi) I went a 1.69 60ft, 4.80 330ft, and promptly broke my tranny right before the 2-3 shift and coasted to a 8.05 @ 67 MPH

It SURE felt good until it broke. Picking up almost 2 10ths in the 330 was promising. I guess I can just speculate now what it might have run that pass.

Oh Well, It was fun while it lasted.

Nice times! Sorry to hear about yout tranny though, get it back together and I can see some 7.3 -7.4 in the very near future with some good tuning and launching techniques.

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys. I was racing at Brainerd Optimist Dragway in Ringold Ga.

Can't wait till Steele AL opens again. 1/4 mile here we come.

At least if I had a tranny. lol
