traction questions

They are starting to do some Wednesday night no prep racing at our local track, and I am wanting to play. My car is currently on bone stock suspension, so I'm wondering if any of you have some good tips/tricks for setting up the suspension for the no prep stuff. I'm sure there's a few of you who have it down, lol.

Good luck with that. I almost wrecked my car on a unprepped track. A drag strip with no prep is worse than any street you could find. I did a nice burnout with the mtdr's launched at 0 boost. Car went completely sideways. Luckily I gathered it eased back into the throttle and spun hard again. Not fun. I didn't attempt any more runs.

If yours is a stockish setup with street tires with aggressive tread you may have better luck than I did.

ATR (large)type sway bar, upgrade lower rear control arms , air bags,
this is probably a minimum to start.

 

[Mr.Spool]

adjust the pinion angle,and a set of tall good tires,and drive it.
