Tranny for sale near me.

Wondering what you guys think of this deal here. You think its something I should pick up and how much should I offer. Here is the ad.

1987 Buick Grand National 200R4 tranny. Tranny has a hardened stator, Alto race clutches, upgraded pump, Transgo shift kit. This is a BRF Turbo Regal 200R4. I am unsure of miles since rebuild. Torque converter is already sold. BRF trannys had heavy duty servos and particular valve bodies for the GN

I haven't talked to the guy about it yet. I was wanting to get a general idea of what it's worth so I can make an educated offer. My transmission is stock and has 71k on it. I am going with a stall and shift kit so I thought this would be a good thing to do to keep my transmission the way it is and beat on a different one.

If i didnt know who built it and how many miles on it id offer core no more than $250. If you were to buy one here ud start at about $2000.. And go up .so i guess its what your willing to gamble .
