Tranny rebuilt.. builders cant figure problem?

Yet anyways. The trany was as brand new rebuild by local shop. Take the car out first 2 hard passes shifts great. 3rd pass hits the rev limiter in first let the foot of the gas then it shifts. They tried another govenor, wide 2nd gear band with a different direct drum. I dont know much about trannies so forgive my dumbness. What else could cause this?

there is many things that can cause this.the main cause is the builders lack of understanding and limited technical info available on this trans.give him a copy of our 200 page manual and tell him to tear into again with the information and confidence to do it right

In defense of the trans shop they have built 100's of (200r gn)trannies and offer great service,real nice guy too, just taking a while to figure out my trans problem is all.

Did you have a shift kit installed? If so what brand and what did it change? BTW, Chris I called you today but you were out. I've tried several times before and can't ever get you. I am needing more info on your shift kit and what all it changes. If you could email me some more detailed info on that I would really appreciate it, I need more info than you description on your website. Thanks!

They figured it out I have a bad valve body Any buddy PLEASE PLEASE know where I could find one?
