trans won't shift.....???

I finally got my GN to make some serious power. The trans shifted nice and firm at around 2500 rpm during regular accelleration, and around 5200 under boost. Now it won't shift at all until 5000 rpm at least, under any conditions. The fluid level is normal and is a nice healthy red color. I wonder if I didn't shear the teeth off the input shaft, they were slightly bent off center the last time I looked. Any ideas????

Gov spring might have taken a hike.

Is that something I can get at through the pan, or do I have to pull the tranny? Aslo what's a new govenor spring worth??? Thanks.

Yes it can be gotten from the pan, both PTS and TCI sell them, here's one link. Type "gov. spring" in the search box and you find all you need to know.

lost gov spring in mine yesterday..dropped pan took out the 3 bolts holding it in fixed it and works great now

samething wouldnt shift without high tv pressure if i took off normal it woud go all the way to 6200 rev limiter and still not shift..

works good with spring back in it
