are forged trws a bad choice for street/strip engine due to weight? if so whats a lighter alternative that wont cost too much?

I had TRWs in my engine no prob... much closer to stock weight... check out full throttle network... they have a rod and piston kit for less than 500 bux i think.. you cant beat that with a stick

i heard that costs almost as much as JEs. do you have an approximate price on that setup?
