Lets hear 'em! I saw that Cal Hartline won the class, but I'd still like to hear who all raced, what they ran, and who had the fastest pass....

TIA:)

Dave Fiscus won TSO

Dave Fiscus won TSO driving Cal Hartline's car defeting Odell Cantrel. (hope I got the spelling right OC) They were the only two remaining cars in TSO on Saturday.

Cool, but what happened to the other cars that were in TSO?? I know that the TSO car that came from Bill Anderson's shop broke the driveshaft....

Also, I wonder what kind of times they were running.....

I am with Steve, does anyone have some numbers/times???

well, Jeff is a NON DRIVER..... first pass he left with 5# of boost and tried to grab the boost controller but shut the fuel pump off in the process, worst part is that it took him at least 30 seconds of coasting down the track to realize what he had done! He kept forgetting he had a transbrake and tried to spool the 88 on the footbrake as well. Next pass he went a 10.10 at like 138, he peddled the car 4 times on that run, when he got back to the pits, I asked him why he lifted, his response "well dude, I can honestly say, I DONT KNOW, I just did". He did manage a 9.3? at 148 on 21# of boost so I am pretty sure we'll be a player with more seat time and confidence, the fastest he has gone prior to this car is 11.40's. We turned it up for the next pass and it broke a 1350 Spicer solid U-Joint with a 15# launch and trashed the shaft as well, he didnt want to put the effort into fixing it Friday morning and neither did I as we actually were not legal because we didnt get a chance to plumb the wastegates back into the exhaust.

Cal's car ran 9.198 @ 148.99 in the finals as OC had problems dialing in his new motor.

Other TSO cars had more serious problems and did not make the finals.

Dave Fiscus had the only TSO car in the 8's. He ran an 8.85 and an 8.87 before the bearings went south on Thursday. Kal is a class act for letting Dave run his car, but Kal did have his hands full tuning alot of other cars.

Good Luck with the car. Hope to see it runnng strong at the MidWest Challenge.

Dave Fiscus had the fastest TSO times of the event. I kept things safe and elected to only turn the wick up when needed. Unfortunatly, my intercooler hose came off in the finals against Odell at 1000' and I didn't get any 8 second passes.
I am sure that the "Anderson car" (Jeff's?) will be one to watch out for next year along with Joe Lubrant's and Tony Gomes.

:( No, not finished.....should be completed by end of June.

hey that kinda sounds like my car as well...mine won't be done until late june as well...but i am nowhere as fast as you guys!

Tony and his wife had a baby either Friday or Saturday. Seems like a pretty good reason to miss Nats.

Hey Kal, I didn't mean to imply your car was not capable of 8's. You just didn't have the wick turned up enough. You know Dave, wide open or go home.

Cal,
Will you lend us Fiscus????? We need a driver!

Good for Tony! My wife and I just had our second 3 months ago. For me to go to Bowling Green, even for the less than 40 hours that I was there, was a BIG STRETCH! I hope I did my job well in TSM, I was so frazzled those two days. ;)

I am now stuck at home doing honey-do's for awhile...:(

I was there!

I made the effort and showed for the race. I was DQ in tech because my WG wasn't tied into my downpipe. I was going to be allowed to run but they decided not to after all. I had a lot of new car issues especially with the suspension. Things were starting to come around for me by Sat when I had to leave because my basement was flooded at home. I would've ended up in Q16 with my traction hindered 9.96@141. My best ET was 9.87 but there is certainly a whole lot more left in the car as I was running pretty low boost and timing. I hope to get the rest of the bugs worked out this month. My plan is to have the car in the low 9's possibly high 8's by the BPG event. I will back next year for sure.

I know this isnt the place for rule discussion but....On the WG does anyone think it would be a problem if we just added small mufflers to the gates (Flowmaster makes them) instead of having to tie them back into the DP? The location of ours will make it very difficult to tie back in, nost other organizations allow this as it is muffled exhaust.
