What happens if you hit the rev limiter with an alcohol kit? Is the rev limiter a fuel cutoff? I am just questioning what happens if you get into the rev limiter with a dual nozzle alcohol kit.

Also, is there any way to tell what the rev limit is programmed into the chip?

FWIW I bought the chip from Eric around 5-6 years ago.

Eric doesnt put rev limits in alky chips because it does cut fuel.

If you have a rev limit in the chip, its not burned for alky. It will run extremely lean in a rev limit situation

I had the chip burned as an alcohol chip. The reason I'm asking is because I'm going to try shifting my transmission manually on the 2-3 shift. (It has a B&M shifter) but I was worried about hitting a fuel cut rev limit and going lean wirh the alcohol kit.

I'd like to lock the converter in 2nd gear, but I feel like the transmission shifts a little sooner than id like in "D" I'd like to try and see what works best, but don't want to blow a set of head gaskets figuring it out. lol

I just realized that if you put D in quotes with tapatalk it's an emoticon...
