Probably been asked and answered a thousand times but are the N/A flywheels different than the turbo flywheels? I'm chasing a vibration since installing a fresh motor. feels like the crank or convertor but the crank was thuroughly checked before assembly & the block is girdled so I don't think (hope like hell!!!) that's the problem. The flywheel was new from GM on my last motor which only lasted ~5000 miles

Thanks for any feedback,
Lee

Yes the flywheels are different between the N/A and turbo motors.

Vibes

Just a long shot (had it happen on me once) but try rotating the trq conv. one part of a turn so that its not bolted to the same holes ..... if it works its cheap.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.....not terribly difficult either:) I've got 3 flywheels here that came on turbo cars from the factory, all with egged out TC bolt holes (hmmm, imagine that) Anyway, they are all different in one way or another & none are perfectly flat  Are the differences (holes, weights, etc.) attributed to balancing the flywheels? Just when I thought I knew everything :D I found out I was still dumb:o
