I have a small "weeping" leak where the turbo oil drain tube (87GN) attaches to the fitting in the engine block (*not* where the fitting screws into the block).

Before I take it apart or tighten it, had a question -

Is this a metal-to-metal compression fitting? Or is some kind of seal or gasket used?

If it's the first, I'll probably just tighten it slightly. If it's the second, I'd want to have a new gasket/oring on-hand, before I attempt taking it apart.

TIA.

It is a metal to metal flair fitting. Should just need tightening. Good luck, it is a bear to get to.

Thx for the quick response.

Right now, the headers & down pipe are off the car, so it's actually pretty easy to reach the fitting ;)

Tom be sure it is the fitting. These things have a habit of developing cracks in the flex part of the tube.
