I'm looking at getting a Ta-49 Turbo for my 89 TTA and was wondering if it's a direct bolt-on from a stock turbo? Can I use the stock elbow and waste gate? If it's not a direct bolt on what else would I need? I have 009 injectors and a AFPR on the car now. Thanks, Jason

I beleive that all of the TA- series turbos are stock replacements. I know that my TA-49 was.
You might have to modify the "clocking" slightly, depending on your supplier and how close they set it.
If you are using a stock "elbow" then you need to make sure that the wastegate hole is small enough for the stock puck. A vendor should ask, but buying used you might get surprised.
