dont buy from this guy (kevin hess), he is a liar. he sold me a car that is a rust bucket after asuring me that there was no rust on the body and it was a clean good running car. i know it is partially my fault for trusting him and not going to look at it. the rear floor has a hole in it and the quarters are filled with expanding foam. he is also not answering my emails about how he stuck it up my a$$.

thanks for listening.

So I take it you purchased this car sight unseen? Bad bad bad. Never purchase a car until you have looked at it first.

Especially when the ad says the car has rust, in which it did. What one person considers minor rust, another may consider major rust. I'm sure being from the north, minor rust to me is major to someone in Arizona. My $.02

guess i trusted guys on this board too much. lesson learned. guy told me minor rust on front floor pan and car was in great shape. lie.

From what I've seen trusting someone on a car sight unseen is a HUGE gamble. Your best bet is to ALWAYS look at it/see/feel/drive it first BEFORE you buy. That way you can get an idea of what you're getting into.

i sold this guy the car for 6k it has terry houston down adj reg. 340 in the tank poss rearend new tires rear springs it is what it is if the was in better shape it would have been alot more money so lets do the math 1th downpipe 500.00 adj reg. 125.oo walbro 340 9/11 converter 500.00 36 pnd inj and chip and 20k mile turbo stock i have not owned this car for over 2 yrs i did not even look at the trunk if you dont like it sell it its not a bad car.runs good drives great i dont understand why people think they should get something for nothing if it was a rust free car it would have been 10k or more its a great driver or it would make a bad azz drag car almost perfect int and as far body and floors its by means perfect and i told him this so once again if you dont like it sell it i had 5500.00 in it so no money was made on my part after i hd all the parts put on the car im sorry you dont like it I DID NOT DO THE WORK TO THAT CAR. a good friend of mine did one thing a blue on blue car is rare if i sell my gn i will buy it back how about that and all this said with no cuseing or bad language sorry my mother in law died ive been busy. oh i for got the transmission is fresh hell i didnt make a dime upgraded digital dash new powermaster what the heck .i did not get your email

all you had to do was tell me about the MAJOR rust issues with the car. i even asked you over the phone if there was any rot and you said NO just minor dings. you told me the body had no rust and just minor rust on the floor pans. the quartesr are filled with expanding foam and you can see the tires through the trunk. i dont think the passenger door is even salvageable. if i knew it was in that condition i would not have bought it. it would be different if i could do those types of repairs. shame on me for not looking at it first but you should have told me the truth. there is no way you did not know about the rust, i found it the first 10 minutes i had the car. i know what these cars are worth. i have a nice clean 1986 gn. al it needed was paint and and body bushings. the car had zero rust and i paid $6000 for that. the car is NOT worth $6000. i do agree about the interior, it is nice but a terrible interior is not a safety issued.

were is the magor rust are you kiddin man you should seen the one i bought for 6000 heck it would not stop spool run and i bought it out of the auto rv from a car lot and had to replace the pass door fix the gas leak make it run the brakes were gone the deck lid was gone but i just fixed everything and went on but alittle rust to me is maybe quite abit different to you sorry about the car to me its a great car im not a car dealer just one person that races these cars and builds motors and fixes crap on them that goes wrong now iwish i would have made that car my race if you would like i have some friends that really like that car i can tell them you dont like it and see if i can sell it for you im sure that wont be a problem i cant buy it back right because im it cost alot to barrie a person these days wow 8500.00 i did not mean miss lead you in anyway

thanks kevin you no me i guess all the goodies that came on the car means nothing a rebuilt trans 9/11 stall 340 pump line lock poss rear new tires springs boost gage on the pillar and all the 199 mpd upgrade speedo man i just dont no. well i guess th downpipe it runs good

would you have your 3 year old in the back seat when there is a 6 inch wide hole underneath that seat!! no way. what rust issues you say? a friend came over and as soon as he walked in he saw the quarters and pass door was a mess. appreciate the trans and convereter, the rest of the stuff i could have put on myself . i'd rather have to make some minor upgrades then to have major surgery on the car. if anyone was to look at this car they would NEVER pay 6k for this thing. 4K is what it is worth. all im saying is you could have told me the truth.

(Turbot990) For what it's worth, I was intrested in that car, Spoke to the kid several times who I thought owned it and I was going to look at it on fathers day week end seeing I was up in wisconsin. The previous owner also told me that it had MINOR rust that it wasn't bad at all! and that he had good rust free extra doors & trunk lid that could go with it. I could of had the car for $8,000 WITH all the good parts on it. I decided against the car when the kid told me that he would pull off the PT70gtq, trans -pro, powerlogger, injectors and he would sell it to me for $7,000. To me, that's pulling alittle bit more than $1,000 worth of parts off. so he lost the sale from me.

You mention that a car like that with NO RUST would be worth $10k? LOL, As soon as I returned home I drove to GA and bought a rust free T-Type with TH down pipe, 55lb inj, ATR 3" stainless steel exhaust, TE44 turbo, boxed rear upper & lower control arms, scanmaster, three gauges, spare weld pro-stars with M/T drag radials, and extra window & door seals all for a wee bit more than you sold that blue car. So the RUST FREE cars ARE out there and they are several thousand or more UNDER $10k..

so a stock t with a few good parts is not worth 6k with a rebuilt trans a killer motor and alittle rust im tied talking about this **** rust can be fixed as well as anything eles if you you got a brain 1

I've been there. I have learned that you cannot trust no one. Especially now that the economy is Sh!t, I would expect nothing less than for people to exaggerate when trying to sell something. However, if I had a dollar for everyone that exaggerated the condition of parts on here, I would be a rich man. It truly is a shame that you can't trust anyone, especially even in your own buick community.

i'd like to see how the guy that you got that from is walking, because you bentem over and rodem good on that deal. nice car, but i think you might have caught a lucky once in a lifetime break on that one

I don't think so! In the original F/S add here he was down to $8,500 before I even called him. And now the question is " Did I pay the full price?" Just because the Blue T mentioned above was over priced in my book, with the little mods it had along WITH the rust issues @ $6,000. It automaticly shouldn't make the one I got too good to be true or under priced!
