Up pipe build advice

I used it.
It's over 10 years old with no problems.

V band and flat flange gasket is a pretty precise fit.
Original has a ball socket for misalignment movement.

Did u rig weld it to the header using SS rod? Did u do any purging when welding your up pipe ? I know it was suggested in an earlier post just wondering how u went about it
