Congratulations To My Favorite Band Van Halen For Finally Being Inducted Into The Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame! It Is Truly A Great Day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn, I Haven't Felt This Good Since I Bought My Gn!

wonder which singer will show up? Both of them probably would rather sit on razor blades than put up with eddies bizarness. Those guys may be out of touch now, but man where they awesome in their day. I've read old magazine articles saying how eddie would turn his back to the crowd back in their early days so no one could figure out how he was doing what he was doing on guitar. He was stupid good on that guitar. I saw them a couple years ago on their last tour. I got free seats right up close, He was so drunk up there I'm surprised he could stand on his own. I'm a guitar player myself, and would love to give him a better review, but his playing that night was so sloppy that I wanted to crawl under the stage for him. He was so trashed that he would roll off his volume during the middle of his solos and not realise what he was doing, I could see his guitar tech back there with his face buried in his hands.

VH with Dave or Sam? Or, ether/both kinda thing?

I heard today that Dave, Alix, and Eddy might finally do an album and some concerts. It did'nt sound like Michael wanted any part of it. I havent seen classic VH since the US "83"

VH + GN = Mean streets...:D

RIGHT ON!:D

Got to see them with Sammy a little over 2 years ago. Best concert I've been to.

Could never really get into Van-Hagar, but 1981 "Fair Warning" tour in Worcester: a kick-ass show if ever there was one!!!!!!!!

A buddy of mine told me that Wolfgang would be playing bass on the next tour, so I don't know if that means if the bass player is taking lead vocals or what...

Alex Van Halen & his Guldstrand GS80 at Willow Springs, Ca. in about '90 or so.

I heard that Wolfgang will be on bass as well. DLR will be the front man. Michael Anthony and Sammy have been touring together but Michael Anthony says he has no interest in a VH reunion tour.

oh man, those were the days.....who opened for them, foghat?

Saw Van-Hagar a year and a half ago, and the show ROCKED!!! To say that Eddy can still play the gutar, is like saying that, Bill Gates still has some loose change layin around. If this thing really happens, it'll be huge. I'll be there  .

VH with DLR was my first concert back on the "1984" tour..and last year with DLR. Sammy rocks better on his own, too bad the VH brothers are too difficult for any of the past member to play with them, has to keep it in the family now with Eddie's son playin the bass.
Glad they made it in, but the R'n'R Hall of Fame is a joke. Blondie gets inducted in her first year that she is eligible and it takes VH this long, and Kiss and Deep Purple and many others still aren't and they are the one's that pioneered what Rock 'n Roll is..not f'in Blondie

don't remember, it was 25 years ago (geez, all of a sudden I feel old!!) They always had a habit of getting some pretty lame acts to open. It was some semi-local band on "Diver Down" that sucked and On the "1984" tour it was Autograph, they REALLY blew!!!

At least that was a band that made it nationally, in Dallas for 1984 it was a local band called "The Velcros"...3 guys on stage with a Fender amp beside them for their entire sound...sounded like they were playing in a concrete tunnel besides they were extremely terrible.

Yup, saw them for Fair Warning, Diver Down and 1984 Tours and one Van Hagar one too. They were awesome, just hope this Hall of Fame goes well, this is a perfect chance for them to make a huge comeback.

Wasn't Michael Anthony into GN's or something?
