Walbro Exchange Program Ending APRIL 15

I have been informed by Walbro that all pumps that are eligible for exchange MUST be delivered into my buiding by April 15. That does not mean shipped by April 15 it means here in our hands by that day. After that Walbro will not be accepting any more pumps for exchange, NO EXCEPTIONS! Up to today we have exchanged 38 fuel pumps, which is a very small percentage of what was sold. The new pumps are working beter than ever and it is apparent that as we have said all along the problem was not as big as it got blown up to be. According to the info my pump would not be warrantied correct,the date code on it is 15807-2.

that is correct Walbro set the date after 20007 and you are before that date

Mike -What exactly is an ops fuel pump.old but still working but numbers are ground off. assuming RA but?

Nothing to do with RA. In fact when we were selling thoise pumps RA was telling everyone Walbro was junk and he would never use them. The OPS pump is an early version of the HP pumps that are sold now. At that time I was working with Walbro to get the bigger bypass springs in the pumps and stronger arms to get the performace we needed. regardless of waht anyone tells you Walbro will not make anything special for anyone everything has a part number, at that time the part number was not out but we had access to it since we were working with them so we ground them off. Something they still do today to conceal the fact that they sell the same pump as everyone else. I still maintain a good relationship with them today which is one reason why we got this problem taken care of when I brought it to them. NIce to see those OPS pumps still kicking.
