Just wanted to warn people to double check the rubber O-ring that goes between sending unit and tank. The new O-ring I got wih the kit was to big. I didn't notice this until the tnk was instlled, and it leaked. Had to drop the tank again and re-install the old one. Works good now.

FYI: It was the Walbro 307 kit.

where did you purchase it from????
it should have been the correct one for your car

Got it from PTE.
It fit the top of the tank good, just a little too big.

for some reason my stock rubber o-ring was in great shape and so i just used that...no leaks...i still have the PTE unit if needbe...

I too have noticed this from way back as far as 95 when doing one in my buddies car. Back then, the pump came from Red. Same O-ring, what I've always done was, to make sure the stock O-ring was ok, and just reused it. If is was dirty, just cleaned it up, and checked it for cracks and the likes. If ok, re-used it.
No problems.
Just my buck ninety eight's worth...

I had the same pump and the same problem. Had to get a new gasket from the dealer.
