Hey you Fast haulers need some advice who has done the same thing I have, bought a Turbo found out should have went BIGGER. Have a ta-49 with 009's and 3000 stall 9/11. But think I should have gotten bigger turbo. What do you experts think. Looking for a time slip of 11:30:o

a 49 will do it but it takes more knowledge/time, experience, and tuning IMO to get there with it. if you arent afraind of high boost and want to stay lower cost on the turbo a 62 seems to be a good one. maybe also a 52 or 54 but youd have to change the converter. a big shaft 63 is the smallest big shaft and it wouyld also get it done but again you would need a converter change.

More POWER

So even if I would change out the injectors to 50's and bump the turbo up to a ta 54. I still would not see 11:30. time slip.

you COULD but you would stress the **** out of it trying to get it to spool with a LOW STALL VERTER AND YOUD PROB HAVE TO RUN REAL LEAN TO SPOOL IT UP DECENTLY. OR YOU COULD GO BIG ON THE TURBO AND THE TOP END MAY MAKE UP FOR THE LOW END LACKING, IDK.

Well crap it doesn't run that bad I guess, Pulls good .The motor is stock just thought that bolt items like I have would get close to what I want the time slip to show. I have friends that run in the high 11:68 that are running stock tubo and 3000 stall . Thanks for the reply.:D
