How do I get super hard shifts who,s plate do I get and what do I need to block off ??

Super hard shifts are not good. You want the fastest shift possible to keep heat down. You want the shifts to become progressively snappier with throttle opening. Hard shifts stress and wear stuff out faster. Of all the aftermarket kits out there that I have used, CK has about the best calibration that I prefer. Close to what I have been doing for a long time but he has the 2-3 improvement that I never thought of. My $.02

why because I like to feel a positive firm shift I had a built trans years ago and that thing shifted hard and lasted a long time with a lot of abuse , not sure who built it but it was nice

Had a 200 built by a local guy would chirp second if u wanted to or not lasted 100 miles

You had a trans built by someone but can't remember where you took the trans?
You want firm positive quick shifts not hard shits. Do a search there are several who build them.

If you want super hard shifts pull out all the accumulator springs and replace with spacers. Then get the tightest stall converter you can find and it will shift so hard your teeth will fall out. A high stall will soften the shift considerably. If the super hard shift is the most important thing then there will be compromises.

As a guy that has a trans that will knock your teeth out trust me they can shift too hard.

ok I got Jakeshoe to send me a kc valve body with his tv mods and his shift plate should shift hard and at 6,000rpm all by itself .... great guy to deal with
