Getting ready to put my motor back in and was going port the wastegate hole when I noticed how jacked up the actuator was. I found out it is a stock actuator , the crimp around the diaphragm was ground down for clearance , the bracket wasn't bolted down completely because it would not fit with 2 bolts in place , and the rod is pushed as far as it can go to one side to be able to attach to the wastegate puck. Is this the only bracket that comes with these actuators ???
I would like to just replace the whole thing with a heavy duty actuator and bracket that fits properly. Thanks Sam DSCN0219.JPG DSCN0220.JPG DSCN0221.JPG DSCN0223.JPG DSCN0224.JPG DSCN0225.JPG

Full throttle offered an adapter at one time, not sure if it is still available. It was the standard bracket, w/the adapter welded on, which can be used for larger turbo's as well.

Full throttle does have it just checked on one myself from them.

I had to modify my actuator like that and it works fine...sometimes with these cars its kind of a requirement

When using a TE-style compressor housing like you have, a stock type wastegate is not a simple bolt-on.

For many years Limit Engineering has supplied the wastegate, both standard or HD, with the proper bracket to match the specific TE housing as there are different versions,

Thanks Nick, I see that Full Throttle has HD actuators for TE housings . Should I just get that and modify it as needed ??

I just got one from Bison , thank you everyone for the help .
