I have had it with no boost control. Internal wastegate downpipe and a HD Actuator. I have gone to a external gate downpipe. I had the hole on my Precision 6776 ported to the max for the internal puck. With the new external downpipe what do I do with the hole? Leave it as is or????? Never got the boost below 23psi and was never steady. 23psi then 27psi then 23psi. My logs looked like a fast heart beat!!

whose downpipe?

Generally, you would port the turbo to match the downpipe. Some of the downpipes have had restrictions where the wastegate discharge is welded back into the downpipe. Something to look at.

But, regardless, boost control issues should not make the boost "jumpy".

What are the details of the rest of the hardware? What wastegate?

GN1 Downpipe with thier wastegate. I don't know anything about the gate included with the pipe which makes me a little nervous. I did see Jason White's post about the mods he had to make. Also came with the GN1 boost controller which I also know nothing about.

It is possible that a coil/module issue could be causing my boost issues as far as a solid number. I have never had the DBB 6776 to go below 20psi. Wastegate hole ported and a RJC boost controller. HD actuator. When I went to a front mount and SD chip the lowest has been 23psi. 4" inlet and 3" outlet. She wants to breath too much!!! 23psi is fine because the dual nozzel alky keeps the knock away but I have boost creep from 23-27psi. This is what I see as the beginnings of a "bad tune". There's is no possible way to tune a car unless everything works. At the boost levels I want to run I really felt that the external pipe was the only answer. We will see tonight. Going to see if the external wastegate will get it below 18psi.
