What's the consensus about a Weber built Stroker 109 Short Block? I know one member just sold one. I need a built short block at the minimum (mine got hurt) :frown: . You send your short block into Weber and they hook you up for around $4,600.00. I asked "Bison" about this short block and he said that they are a good piece. I trust his advise, I just want some folks first hand experience with them. A Vendor told me that they have problems with their cranks breaking? My set up is in my sig. How much more power might one make at lets say, the same boost levels as a stock 109 block making 500 HP? My goal is to be able to run low 10's and to be reliable. I want to run at least mid 6's in the 1/8th mile (tracks are 1/8 mile around here in SC). The Weber Stroker may be over-kill, but I may want to go faster one day....................Thanks in advance for the advise.

Webber

I was looking at them as well. I've heard nothing but good things about their builds.

Weber is building mine now and can't wait to drop it in!! Bryan and Shaun are really great guys.

I did not get an engine from them but all of the internals of my engine came from them... pistons, rods, crank, cam, etc. All great pieces and have been great to this date!

Bryan is very honest and a great guy to deal with... i was missing a part from an order once and he sent it next day air at no cost to me, great vendor! hth

Weber did my shortblock and have been happy with it so far. I gave them a CAT stock stroke crank to use and they did the rest.

Bryan is cool to deal with, I don't think you'll have any regrets using Weber.

So you got the "Stroker Motor Kit"?......was there much of a difference in power in the Before and After comparison when running the same boost? Or did you even notice or do a comparison?

where is weber located? What is shipping like for a short block? I have a bare 109 that I want to start from scratch on. What do they reuse on the old shortblock? With the right cam, heads and turbo is this a reliable mid 10 sec motor?

Tallmadge OH. $200-250 to a business. $650 core charge if no block is supplied. Very reliable mid 10 sec. For $600 more girdled it is good to mid 9's.

Weber is in North Ridgeville Ohio. He builds great engines. I have one getting ready to go in. It is going to be a TSE combo, so it will be going mid 9's for the Buick races.
