Wha makes the 1-2 shift go "soft"

Rebuilt BRF unit (about 4 years and 8,000 miles ago)
Has a Fairbanks Super Servo...unit used to shift very firm on the 1-2 and 2-3 upshifts...now its soft on the 1-2 but still firm on the 2-3
thoughts? Fluid is pink with no stink

Good chance the band anchor hole is blown out.

Just got back from the tranny shop that built the unit....I am going to give him a call on Thursday morning and then hopefully drop it off.
He mentioned the servo lip seal.....we'll see..maybe a broken 1-2 accumulator spring?

Yes. Again the 1-2 is soft,2-3 is firm. Shift timing,etc. is all good.
I'll be calling the shop in a little while,and hopefully I can drop it off this morning. I will post back what the builder finds.
