After I had my transmission rebuilt, I have had a big problem with it shifting correctly duer to low TV pressure. The shims I have put in to the TV cable (by the base of the transmission) have helped, but not cured it. Anyway, I was wondering why it would need shims to help bring up TV pressure? Is there a list a mile long that I would have to go through? I can take pressure readings in about 2 weeks, when I will have a gauge. Until then, I would like to know what the possible causes of low TV pressure could be, which parts I would most likley need to look at. I did have a 10 vein pump installed.

It may have something to do with who built it

Maybe he didnt install the updated pressure regulator for the pump..look into the stregnthening the 2004r and read up on the pump..especially the Hack way of doing things :D

Good point... I learned a hard lesson with this rebuild. I'll never go to a non-buick trans guy again... Grady's Greasy rebuilds just didn't get it right. Thanks for the info.
